Technical Support: Delete my CreditCard information from Account
Hello. I want to delete m Credit Card information thats been saved in my pofile. I'm not satisfied with the way to "just" disable my CreditCard. I know i cannot delete my account but the way I pay i something i do not wanna keep saved. Thats not serious to not have this option.
I want my credit card data to be completetly vanished. Do you know how to make that?

For legal and tax reasons, all credit card information must be kept on record, you can however disable your credit card information. Also, only the first 6 digits and last 4 digits are kept on record.

For legal and tax reasons, all credit card information must be kept on record, you can however disable your credit card information. Also, only the first 6 digits and last 4 digits are kept on record.

Pay the extra 5 bucks for a visa gift card at walmart cvs or any other store like that.. preloaded, non recurring and non reuploading... this way every transaction is not on yer ssn or name really, also the sign up fee is now 2 dollars that gets refunded in 24 hours, remember that. Or 1 I forgot.. just add 2 bucks to what youre gonna pay. Use it . You can add cards Quote

Under "Billing" on your Account page, select "Payment Accounts" and there should be an option under Action to "delete" your credit card.

The "delete" function is available for payment methods _except_ for the default payment account. If you want to delete that (i.e., essentially deleting your non-basic account), you should contact Customer Service directly via the "Contact Us" information at the bottom of every web page.

For legal and tax reasons, all credit card information must be kept on record, you can however disable your credit card information. Also, only the first 6 digits and last 4 digits are kept on record.
I assume this policy applies to this day which is why credit cards can only be disabled instead of deleted. PayPal remains an option if that helps?

I simply gave an updated credit card assuming my monthly renewal would be updated. My renewal apparently gave me 300 credits which I assume is no longer available. All my account says is now "VIP Not Active" When I enquired all I received was a number of nonsensical responses. It is hard to get anything sensible from customer service, it seems they are not particularly interested.

I doubt you will receive a sensible response. All I did was updated my credit card and now I am no longer a VIP so I have gone elsewhere and deal with a customer service that actually understands rather than just quoting "invented" policy procedures. Quite a shame.
