Sorry - I have a different view.
There are many times when a derisory tip is worse than not giving any tip at all. If you can tell me of any model who felt better by receiving a solitary 5 credit tip then I might be persuaded.
...Drew Asian, he gets very excited and is very appreciative of any tip in any amount that he receives.
...In addition, when I or another member gives him purple rain in 5 & 10 credit tips he just beams with sheer delight. I am sad to see that he will not be able to have that type of joy any more. Quote

Later this morning we are rolling out an update to (re)introduce two lower priced tipping options: 5 credits and 10 credits. This should give you the ability to tip in smaller demoninations and have fun with multiple-tips to "fill the room" if that's your desire.
This change was prompted by two main forces; the first of which was it was frequently brought up in the 2011 year-end survey. Many of you felt that the current tipping options did not provide enough flexibility and/or were too high.
Second, we wanted to create an atmosphere where for just a few credits you could add some fun to a room and make a performer smile ;)
Eventually we'd like to move towards a completely dynamic tipping model where you can just type in any amount you want.

Any amount we want? The theatrical 1000 credit rain, looks great, and makes for a special day / occasion for the performer, but why oh why - can you not deliver your own promise VS Brad? And why after inviting feedback do you remain as silent as a beggars tip? Quote
