I use the whisper function quite a bit, and I find it a valuable way to communicate with a model. However, it's not the only way, and you should not be carrying on entire conversations with a model in whisper. If I see that happening, I leave the room or I say something to the model. There are ways to bring it up.

I guess I just don't understand why a few people that misuse it somehow are extrapolated out to the rest of us. I whisper things about audio...I've even whispered things to a model if someone enters the room that I know like, "Oh...so and so is a good guy." Etc.

There are ways to use it and ways to misuse it. Personally, if there's a whole lot of whispering going on, and I'm just watching it...I'm out. Quote

I can see it as stagehogging too, but I really really miss it. It not just whispering however. They can be on other sites. They can be on some handheld on twitter. They can be answering what they call 'mail' here. They can be multitasking. But removing us little people who needed it to set up a pvt is more damaging than all else.
