Since there is a favorite movie thread, I don't see one for a favorite music group, or artist, so I would create one for people to say by posting what their favorite music group, or who their favorite music artist is.

The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band are classic groups. Can't go wrong, with either one of those ones. Even John Williams, who did a lot, with the Star Wars episodes from one to six, and to name a few famous soundtracks is great, too.

There were some real Classics from the "OLD" days Derek. not only CCR and Rush but Doors, Iron Butterfly, Grandfunk Railroad, Three dog Night, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Black Oak Arkansas, Pink Floyd, Eagles and even some like Jimmy Hendricks, Carol King, Jim Croce, Seals and Crofts, Simon and Garfunkel, and on and on.... They were all great!! Those were the days! But I think that I would have to say that my favorites were Moody Blues and Fleetwood Mac... to this day I still love to hear Stevie Nicks.

I like Stevie Nicks', and Christine McVie's voices in Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks is pretty good on her own, too. I like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and progressive rock, too.

I really don't have a favorite artist, but I guess I could choose Eazy-E. Listened to him a lot growing up.

PERFORMER
Asking Alexandria

and

Avril Lavigne

I love a bunch others but I'll prolly pick these two :) Love Asking Alexandria cause they are post hardcore/metalcore my favorite music genre. Can't wait to see them in concert next month!!! And I love Avril Lavigne cause her music and lyrics are real; plus she's a great person and has a charity website and has learned different languages such as Japanese to sing her songs for them in that language when she goes on tour which I found pretty amazing! Plus both of these artists have really good music videos :)

I'm not a big, or huge fan of Avril Lavigne, but I have respect, and like a few songs from her.
